## Why the first euro comes fast and means little

Subscribing costs one click. Bring twenty people over from Instagram or TikTok in your first week and you statistically get one to three subscriptions — under thirty euros at a ten-euro price, and a fifth of that goes to the platform.

That number says nothing about the future. It only proves the path works: someone saw you, followed you, paid. In week one that is the only question worth asking.

## What actually happens in the first three months

Revenue on OnlyFans comes partly from subscriptions and mostly from what happens afterwards: individually sold content, tips, conversations. Both take time, for different reasons.

**Reach grows slowly.** An Instagram or TikTok account starting from zero usually needs six to ten weeks before individual videos regularly pass a thousand views. That is the bottleneck, not OnlyFans itself.

**Regulars form even more slowly.** Someone who buys in month one buys once. Someone still there in month three buys repeatedly — and that difference is what the revenue is made of in the end. Relationships cannot be accelerated, only prevented (by going quiet).

The range is that wide because two things vary a lot: how much material is produced regularly, and whether someone runs the conversations or lets them sit. Both are within your control. Looks and niche matter less than most people assume.

## How to tell after four weeks whether it is working

Not by revenue. By behaviour:

- **Do new followers arrive without you posting every single day?** Then reach is carrying.
- **Do people reply to your messages?** Then the tone is right.
- **Has anyone bought a second time?** That is the strongest signal there is.

If two of three are true and revenue is still low, what is missing is usually time. If none are true, another month will not help — then something about the presence needs changing, not enduring.

## What shortens it

A plan that exists before the account opens: which videos, when, where. Spending week one deciding what to post costs exactly the weeks in which reach could have started growing. And someone to take over the messages — most sales happen in conversation, and a conversation that waits three days for a reply is no longer one.

Both are the reason agencies exist. Both are also possible without one; they just cost the time you would otherwise spend in front of the camera.
