OnlyFans by the numbers: revenue, creators and payouts (2026)

5 min read · Published on 2026-10-26

Short answer

In the financial year to 30 November 2025, about 7.85 billion dollars went through OnlyFans. 6.3 billion of it was paid to creators, the platform kept 1.55 billion. Of roughly five million creator accounts, 2.5 million were active – on average that is about 2,500 dollars per active account per year.

OnlyFans is owned by Fenix International Limited, based in London. As a UK company it has to file its annual accounts with Companies House, and that is where the figures in this article come from. The financial year ends on 30 November. Where we did the maths ourselves, we say so.

The key figures at a glance

Figure 2023 2024 2025
Fan payments (gross) $6.63bn $7.22bn about $7.85bn
of which paid to creators $5.32bn about $5.81bn (calculated) $6.3bn
Platform net revenue $1.31bn $1.41bn $1.55bn
Creator accounts (registered) 4.12m 4.63m about 5m
of which active – – 2.5m
Fan accounts (registered) 305m 377.5m 437m
of which active – – 132m

For 2024, the reports on the accounts do not state creator payouts separately; the figure is gross payments minus net revenue. Active accounts are only given for 2025. Pre-tax profit was 658 million dollars in 2023 and 684 million in 2024.

What reaches creators

The split is simple: of every dollar a fan pays, 80 cents go to the creator and the platform keeps 20. The accounts confirm it almost exactly – 1.55 of 7.85 billion is just under 20 percent. How the OnlyFans fee works in detail is covered separately.

Divide the 6.3 billion dollars in payouts by 2.5 million active accounts and you get about 2,520 dollars a year, or 210 dollars a month. That is an average, and it needs care: it includes the small top tier that earns a great deal. The middle of the distribution sits well below it – the reasons are in How much do people earn on OnlyFans?.

The top: 5,076 millionaires

For its tenth birthday in August 2026, OnlyFans announced that 5,076 creators have earned more than one million dollars since 2016. In total the platform has paid out about 30 billion dollars in ten years.

Measured against roughly five million accounts, that is about 0.1 percent. It shows what is possible and, at the same time, how rare it is. It is no basis for your own planning; the numbers for the first months are more honest for that.

Calculated values few people mention

Value Calculation Result
Payout per active creator account $6.3bn ÷ 2.5m about $2,520 a year
Spending per active fan $7.85bn ÷ 132m about $60 a year
Active fans per active creator account 132m ÷ 2.5m about 53
Millionaires as a share of all creator accounts 5,076 ÷ about 5m about 0.1%

The second value is the most telling: an average active fan spends about 60 dollars a year. Earning more takes either a very large audience or fans who spend far more than average – and that almost only happens in personal conversation, through mass messages and pay-per-view.

Growth is slowing

Fan payments grew by 19 percent in 2023, 9 percent in 2024 and just under 9 percent in 2025. Registered fans, on the other hand, keep growing strongly, by about 16 percent in 2025. More fans who spend slightly less on average, and hundreds of thousands of new creators every year: the market is not shrinking, but it is getting tighter.

For you that means: an account on OnlyFans alone does not attract visitors. Reach is built elsewhere, through Instagram, TikTok and Reddit, and offering the same content on other platforms as well earns in several places.

What the numbers do not tell you

  • How income is distributed. OnlyFans publishes no median and no distribution, only totals.
  • Where creators are based. The accounts give no figures per country.
  • What is left after deductions. Payouts are before agency commission, tax and insurance. How that income is taxed depends on where you live – for example in the US or in Germany.
  • How active "active" is. An active account can be a full-time creator or someone who posts once a year.

What we take from it

The figures confirm what we see every day: the money is there, but it goes to those who run OnlyFans like a business – with reach, fixed routines and a chat that sells. If you want to know whether that is worth it for you and what we would take on, a first conversation is the easiest way to find out.
